About WpAi
WpAi is a WhatsApp business messaging platform. It gives a business one place to run broadcast campaigns, an AI chatbot, appointment booking, a shared team inbox, a CRM and its billing — over WhatsApp, on whichever connection suits it.
Two products, one platform
There are two ways to connect a number, and they are genuinely different products rather than two names for one thing. The WhatsApp Cloud API is Meta's official channel, built on WpAi's Meta Tech Provider access: it links through Meta Embedded Signup, gives a verified sender and pre-approved templates for reaching people who have not messaged you, and carries Meta's charge on every approved template message you send. WhatsApp Web links the number a business already uses by scanning a QR code — no template approvals, no per-message fee at all, and live in minutes.
What they share is everything underneath. Contacts, chatbot, campaigns, inbox and appointment book behave identically on either, and one account can run both on one invoice. That is the reason the platform exists in this shape: most businesses do not want to choose a technology, they want to reach their customers, and the right connection changes as they grow.
How we think about sending
On the Cloud API there is no ban risk while Meta's rules are followed, because the messages travel over Meta's own infrastructure with templates it approved. On WhatsApp Web the risk is real for anyone who blasts large cold lists, so sending is paced deliberately: a warm-up ramp for new numbers, daily caps, quiet hours, randomised gaps between messages and link stripping on first contact. Used for warm conversations at reasonable volume it is safe; used to spam strangers, no tool can protect a number, and we would rather say so than promise otherwise.
Who builds it
WpAi is built and operated by BitapTech, the registered entity behind the product, from Chitrasenpur, West Bengal. BitapTech maintains the privacy, terms and refund policies that govern the service, and bitaptech.com lists its other products.
Billing is prepaid and itemised: Meta's per-template-message rates are published in the in-app rate card before anything is sent, and a PDF invoice is issued automatically with every wallet recharge. Pricing for both products is listed in full on the pricing page rather than gated behind a sales call.
